We are proud of our restaurant, which is renowned for its high quality: aroma, taste and aesthetics take the culinary experience to a higher plane. Our á la carte menu is based on local, seasonal ingredients, fresh from the producers of Funen, and always features fresh fish dishes.

Culinary Inspiration

Inspiration for the á la carte menu at Restaurant Knudsens Gaard comes from far and wide, from markets, from the producers, the countryside, or our own kitchen garden with all its herbs. We take our cue from the seasons and the ingredients that make each season special. From early Baltic prawns and winter dishes with cabbage, to festive feasts and large-scale Christmas parties. We bake our own bread with organic flour from Funen, and always serve freshly baked bread with the menus and rye bread with lunches. We have put together a number of menus for functions held at Restaurant Knudsens Gaard. If you have any special requirements, we will, of course, do our best to accommodate them – we love a challenge!
